Mechanisms that regulate growth, differentiation, and malignant transformation of epithelial cells in vivo and in vitro in culture. Characterization of mechanisms that regulate cell invasion, cell migration and basement membrane organization.Application of infrared micro-spectroscopy and spectral imaging for detection of micrometastasis and screening of epithelial dysplasias.
